I hear Scrooge McDuck used to keep his money in the Old Bank District
You know all those annual events you’re going to? The 7th annual this or the 30th annual that. Wouldn’t it be cool to attend the first annual something? Well this Saturday you can with the first annual Old Bank District Block Party at 4th and Main. The event will feature music by bands such as Whispertown 2000, The Like, The Afternoons, and a special headliner, an art bazaar with works by thirty local artists, a beer garden, and various retail booths. Restaurants in the area will offer holiday menus and give 10% of their proceeds to charities. All in all, you’ll eat, drink, have fun and most importantly, in 10 years will be able to brag that you were there when it all started.
