Hello Kitty is 35!
In a few weeks, Royal/T will be the venue for a fabulous party celebrating 35 years of Sanrio. A massive art show featuring the works of 80 artists will be on display. And how cute is this: all of the artists have somehow incorporated their vision of Hello Kitty in their piece. The few images sent in the press release are ridiculous, I love it all, like this Buff Monster piece on the right. The exhibit is appropriately named, Three Apples (Hello Kitty’s weight, according to her bio.) Some artists on the lineup include, Amada Visell, Colin Christian, Buff Monster, Frank Kozik, Friends With You, Gary Baseman, Huck Gee, Luke Chueh, Natalia Fabia, Ron English, Simone Legno, Tara McPherson, and more! It will be one cute little opening.
