Free Secret Drive In!
Looking for the drive-in experience in Los Angeles, but unwilling to pony up the cash? I have the sexiest, most underground solution for you my friend! Madex’s GuerrilLA Drive-in pops up in a downtown location once a month for absolutely free! They usually show some weird cartoons, bizarre old informational films, or a short film before the feature, so you have time to chill and chat with other kids in their cars. This Sunday they are showing Tim Burton’s classic Mars Attacks.
All you need is the address, and an FM radio tuned to 104.7, some food and drink of your choosing and you are in business. If you don’t have a car, bring a boom box and a blanket, all are welcome. As an added bonus this week The Franken Stand will be there serving up delicious vegan hot dogs. You have no excuse to miss being part of the best kept secret in Los Angeles!
