Compassionate Cuisine
This Friday is the 4th annual Compassionate Cuisine- a celebration of world vegetarian day. From 7-11pm in the Japanese gardens at Cal State Long Beach’s campus, various vendors, musical artists, and speakers will gather to benefit Animal Acres- a farmed animal sanctuary and compassionate living center. The president and founder of Animal Acres will speak and music will be provided by the Irvine Young Concert Artists. Vendors include Hansen’s beverages, Zephyr vegetarian Cafe, Whole Foods, the Frankenstand (my old buddies), Follow Your Heart, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Cobblermania, Wok n’ Roll, and others. Tickets are $35 in advance/$45 at the door for all that great vegetarian food!
