Definitely an overlooked issue, human/sex trafficking is a billion dollar industry progressively creeping up to be more lucrative then the arms and drug industry. In the documentary CALL+RESPONSE, musician Justin Dillian takes initiative by going deep undercover to discover a thriving slave industry that crosses all continents. Inspirational personalities, political and cultural figures, and musicians alike come together to raise awareness on trafficking to help stop it. Cornel West, Madeleine Albright, Daryl Hannah, Julia Ormond, Ashley Judd, Nicholas Kristof, Moby, Natasha Bedingfield, Cold War Kids, Matisyahu, Imogen Heap, Talib Kweli, Five For Fighting, Switchfoot, members of Nickel Creek and Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers, Rocco Deluca all feature to help inspire people to make a difference. Only showing for a week, help bring this documentary into a bigger distribution light where it will help motivate for change. Proceeds from the viewing will go towards organizations to help stop the sex-trade industry.
