Bored & Hungry : the Good Pizza

If you’re ever on the westside (or on your way to or from LAX), I highly recommend skipping the In n’ Out and stopping by this neighborhood joint for a slice of pizza or two- it’ll be worth your while, I promise. It’s seriously the best pizza-by-the-slice place in the city, and it’s a damn shame they’re located allll the way over there. The owner is from Naples and will happily tell you about it if he’s there. The pesto bianco and barbecue pollo with french fries are must-haves, and the pepperoni is pretty legit. The crust is perhaps the best part, and the oozing cheese, pesto and olive oil. The tiramisu in a to-go container is pretty damn good. This place is small, charming, fast, and affordable- about $2-$3 per slice. It feels good to support a small business establishment producing great food like this. You can get a whole pie as well, and there are a few tables and chairs outside. While you’re at it, you may as well hit up nearby KC’s Cafe for crepes and boba! (Gosh, I miss my LMU haunts).
